Today, the 22nd anniversary of the policeman's death was marked in Tearce, Tetovo Momir Stojanovski, who was killed in a rocket launcher attack on the police station.

This event in 2001 is considered the beginning of the armed conflict in Macedonia. The policeman was seriously wounded during the attack Davor Evrosimovski, and his colleagues received minor injuries Borce Gyurovski и Yahi Lika.

Today's commemoration was organized by the Board of Veterans. "It is our responsibility to live the memory of our heroes", indicated the organizers.

"Momir Stojanovski is the first undefeated player among all the other fallen defenders in 2001. If we go back in history, we will remember that the bravest always died for the motherland, and that was Momir, an excellent professional and loyal to the motherland. Even today, after 22 years, we witness the selfless attitude of the defenders towards the call of the homeland and defense against aggression and terrorism. We will forever be their debtors," said Marin Najdov from the Board of Defenders.

The event was marked in front of the building that housed the Tearce Police Station in 2001, which was attacked by a terrorist group.

The facility has collapsed, there is no memorial, except for the memorial plaque for the dead policeman Momir, which is placed in front of the door of the facility only on the day of the commemoration.

The Board says that the state does not care at all about commemorating the memories of the fallen defenders, and it "raised hands of the defenders who survived the conflict and prevented the division of Macedonia".

"Currently, the status of defenders can be said to be desperate, given that they are not taken care of, a large number of defenders are at social risk, many of them are already deceased. The state should seriously take care of them, they are not integrated in society, they are left on the margins and are in a very bad condition. Such events are not seriously commemorated and are not supported by the state, and what we do on our own good will, such commemorations, are spontaneous," said Zharko Milevski from the Board of Defenders.

The Board indicated that this year they will commemorate the anniversaries related to the fallen defenders more massively.

"We will be in contact with our membership to avoid the existing manipulation of their votes by political parties." We will create a platform for negotiations with political parties, and in the elections we will support all those who can fulfill our goals and demands. The votes of the defenders are being manipulated by certain entities. We are trying to shut out the parts of the political set that want to tear us apart and tear us apart. "Negotiations are being carried out with several political parties, we are contacting them and we will see who will meet our demands in order to support them in the elections," added Milevski.
