War in Ukraine enters its 808th day. Intense fighting is taking place in the Kharkiv region.

Moscow claims it has taken control of five villages in the border zone of Kharkiv Oblast.

Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces captured five villages in the Kharkiv region, which borders Russia's Belgorod region.

On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his video address actually denied Moscow's claims and said that the fighting in seven border villages in Kharkiv is ongoing, while he called the situation in Donetsk region "particularly tense".

Five people were killed in three separate attacks by Ukrainian drones and artillery on the Russian border regions of Belgorod and Kursk and the Moscow-controlled city of Donetsk.

According to authorities in Luhansk, four people were killed in a rocket attack by Ukrainian forces that caused a large fire at a fuel depot in the town of Rovenka.

More than 14.000 refugees arrived in Hungary from Ukraine on Friday (May 10), Hungarian police said.

Among the refugees, only 43 people requested a temporary permit of 30 days to stay in Hungary
