Two million cases of fever have been reported in North Korea, just one week after the first official cases of Covid-19 were confirmed.

In just one day, Wednesday, 262 cases of fever were reported, state media reported.

A total of almost two million cases of Covid have been reported, of which 1,2 million have already recovered.

In North Korea, with a population of nearly 26 million, the death toll from Covid-19 is one in 63 deaths.

Experts estimate that North Korea does not have the capacity to conduct Covid-19 tests on any suspects, and therefore reports cases of fever. The World Health Organization assumes that no vaccination has been given in a country that is almost isolated from the rest of the world.

The first case of Covid-19 Pyongyang was officially confirmed last Thursday.
