In the large Ukrainian attack in the Russian city of Belgorod, the death toll is growing
The authorities in the Russian border region of Belgorod announced a major Ukrainian attack in which at least 15 people died, DPA reported.
The district's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said on Telegram that the Ukrainian army launched an attack on the center of the regional capital Belgorod and told residents to hide in air raid shelters.
Twelve adults and two children died in the shelling, the Russian Civil Defense Agency said on Telegram. Another 108 people were injured, including 15 children.

Gladkov previously announced that there were two dead.
Russian news agency Interfax reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had instructed Health Minister Mikhail Murashko to lead the team flying to Belgorod as part of the government's response to the crisis.
