The level of political and legal culture in society, and especially among political entities through appropriate examples and models, is desirable to nurture and develop for a certain behavior of citizens.

- In every country, the political culture is very important, which implies and includes the responsibility of the political parties, and especially of the government towards the opposition parties and its own voters. Practically, this means that the laws proposed by the Government must be supported by the majority that gave confidence to the government and by the MPs of the opposition. It takes honest and continuous work in mutual behavior to arrive at the best solutions. If there is antagonism between political subjects at a high level, I do not expect cooperation between them and solutions in the interest of the citizens. This was pointed out by lawyer Meri Mladenovska Gjorgjievska, former Minister of Justice during the period when the Parliament dared and passed the constitutional amendments in the area of justice.

Citizens demand justice in continuity, and the judiciary was captured before this government came, but at the same time, the much expected justice did not happen even with a change of government, as the citizens demanded. The judicial system, according to the assessment of relevant organizations, is at the lowest level it can be.

- When analyzing the situation in the judicial system, a simple answer cannot be given. The image we have of the justice system is related and in conflict with the social image or what is happening in society. Realistically speaking, the democratic environment in every country depends primarily on the behavior of the executive power. This assessment does not exclude the legislative power that enacts the laws, and it is an indisputable fact that the position of the executive power is dominant. For these 30 years, we have had big differences in what we mean by a democratic environment. Now, several years after the change of government, I can state that the citizens did not receive changes in the justice sector, as they expected from the government they trusted. The fact is that no major reforms have been made in the judiciary, but the blame must not be shifted only to the judges. I have experience with judges who do not present themselves to the public as judges where they do not know them, so as not to suffer the disappointment and dissatisfaction of the citizens if they understood what they are doing. I believe you will agree that a major problem in the functioning of the judiciary today is corruption, but not only in that area. I believe that there is corruption in other types of government, especially in the executive, as well as in society as a whole. The solution to this problem will only follow when the general statement about corrupt judges will be replaced by a specific reference to the person who violated the law - noted the lawyer Meri Mladenovska Gjorgjievska in the guest appearance on the show "Morning Press".

It would be desirable for the judge to publicly express an opinion in defense for himself, for his work, for his colleagues and for the entire justice system that the presented assessments and findings are incorrect and tendentious lies. In that context, he should continue the statement with the words "the judiciary is not corrupt, but that the judges make judgments without pressure and based on the laws".

-In every democratic country, an expected public opinion and behavior is when the judge says that the judgment passed is based on the law. However, the reality in Macedonia. that has been going on for decades is that all important social issues that we should discuss as citizens are left to political parties. The devaluation of the value of politics has contributed to citizens not wanting to participate in political life with their own involvement, says Mladenovska Gjorgjievska.
