Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said today that his country will continue the war with or without international support, Sky News reported.

A cease-fire, Cohen said, would be a "gift to Hamas" that would allow it to threaten Israel again.

The Israeli foreign minister's comments come after 153 UN members voted in favor of a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire last night, with only 10 voting against.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden said that Israel is starting to lose support because of the "indiscriminate bombing" in Gaza.

The UN humanitarian office (OCHA) was notified by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Hamas-run Gaza that the Israeli offensive in the enclave has so far killed 18.205 Palestinians and injured more than 50.000.
