Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said that he sent the draft for the Community of Serbian Municipalities to French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Rama stated at the press conference that he does not understand the reluctance of the Kosovo authorities to de-escalate the situation in the north.

"The situation in the north is taking on the proportions of a political tragedy for the Republic of Kosovo. "The statements of our strategic allies about this situation are increasingly alarming, and the reason for the reluctance of the Kosovo authorities to de-escalate the situation in which it is obvious that Kosovo is making big losses every day is incomprehensible," said Rama.

He emphasized that ZSO will be a "Gordian knot" until the end of the dialogue.

"Serbia is doing what it has done many times before, while Kosovo is doing something it has never done before and for which it is universally blamed by all the strategic allies of the Albanian people. In conditions where the relations of the allies with Kosovo are taking more and more ultimatum tones, if Kosovo, and I hope this will not happen, he will be sanctioned because of his position, I am here to share with you a fact unknown until today. I have known for a long time that the Gordian knot of the dialogue will be the Union of Municipalities with a Serbian majority until the end, and I am convinced that no party wants the Union and will try to push it to infinity by keeping the crisis open," Rama said. . .

He indicated that he believes that the creation of the ZSO is the key to finally opening the door for international affirmation of Kosovo.

"His recognition by everyone, his placement in international forums and mutual recognition with Serbia. This is a plan long ago developed by top American and European experts, just in case this day comes. "For me, the position of Kosovo, not Serbia, is unforgettable. The parties cannot agree on who should write this text, nor what the text should contain," added Rama.

As he emphasized, the draft he sent to Macron and Solatz on the JSO may not be an ideal solution, but it respects all the reasons for creating the JSO.

"It is a confidential document that does not pretend to be an ideal solution, but it is a document of the highest international level that respects all the reasons for the creation of the Association and that the Association is part of the organization of life in Serbia. The Republic of Kosovo refers to all the recommendations of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo," said Rama.
