Presidential elections in Montenegro: Djukanovic leads according to initial results

According to the initial results, the current president of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, is in the lead in the presidential elections that took place today. According to 33,5 percent of processed votes, Djukanović won 36,2 percent of the votes, Jakov Milatović 23,9, and Andrija Mandić 23,4 percent.

Polling stations were closed at 20 p.m. Voter turnout is estimated at 53,6 percent. Just over 534.000 voters have the right to vote in Montenegro.

The chairman of the State Election Commission said that no irregularities were reported during the voting in the election, which analysts rated as the most uncertain ever.
