The basketball players of MZT Skopje Airport they lost last night's away game against Red Star (67: 87), in a match in which they did not come out with a white flag, but they fought from the first to the last moment of the meeting, which is why they deserved praise regardless of the final epilogue, considering that they had against them a Euroleague player who is the current champion in ABA League.

This is also the thinking of the coach of the Macedonian champion, Aleksandar Petrovic, who after the match congratulated the opponent, but also praised his chosen ones, especially in a special segment of the game.

– We played as much as we could against a strong Euroleague team. We were better in defense than in attack. Offensively, we failed at certain moments, we had lapses, but despite that I am satisfied, mostly with the attitude of the players. We controlled the rebound, but we had more turnovers, which an experienced team like Crvena Zvezda took advantage of, and this is where I see the reason for the defeat. We played without two players, Evan Maxwell and Adem Mekic, who are injured, but I expect one of them to help us against Partizan - said Petrovic.

MZT will play the duel against the second Belgrade Euroleague Partizan in SC "Jane Sandanski" on October 10, at the end of the second round of the Adriatic competition.
