The agreement includes the modernization and virtualization of the entire core network, the introduction of the most advanced equipment in the radio part of the network and the introduction of the Kosovo code 383. The Chief Executive Officer of Telecom Kosovo, Burbuće Hana emphasized that the agreement aims to modernize the mobile network and switch to the 383 regional code, brings significant benefits to users and improves mobile telecommunications services by introducing the latest technologies in the telecommunications industry.

The agreement allows Telecom Kosovo not only to expand the coverage of 4G broadband technology in the entire populated area, but also to enter the era of 5G broadband technology. Telecom Kosovo is switching to its own international phone number, 383, so it does not bear the cost of using Monaco's international phone number, she said. From a technical point of view, Telecom Kosovo will appear in the international telecommunications network as a company of the Republic of Kosovo.

The president of Ericsson NT, Gordana Kovacevic, emphasized that the implementation of the agreement will improve the quality of services to end users and prepare the network infrastructure for the creation of new services based on modern technology.
