A restaurant from central Istria, whose establishment operates throughout the year, complained to Glas Istria about the lack of manpower, H1 Info reports.

He wanted to share his experience in which, through a tender, he was looking for more employees for his establishment: a chef, a waiter, a waitress and an assistant chef.

He is told that out of 25 unemployed people who are available for those jobs, four have contacted the Employment Service. "I offer a salary of two thousand euros for the chef, a little over one thousand for the waiter and one thousand euros for the waitress and assistant cook," he said.

But the answers of the candidates came down to the fact that they are either not interested in that job, or they are working on a secondary job, or they are working abroad and currently the status of unemployed is completely suitable for them, writes Glas Istre.
