Belgian "Kims chocolates" - organic dark chocolate 72 percent with almonds and organic dark chocolate 57 percent with cherries and almonds, both 100 grams each, are being withdrawn due to the possibility of an increased amount of mycotoxins - aflatoxins, the State Inspectorate of the Republic of Croatia announced on Wednesday.

The organic dark chocolate 72 percent with almonds is number L22343, with a best-by date of March 9, 2024, and the organic dark chocolate 57 percent with cherries and almonds is number L23067 and has a best-by date of June 8. 2024 year. Belgian chocolate is produced by Kim's Chocolats NV, Tienen, Belgium, and sold by Dupin d.oo from Zagreb, reports Poslovni.hr.

The product does not comply with the Regulation (EC) on determining the maximum allowed amounts of certain pollutants in food, according to the press release. "Delicia" reported that consumers who bought the mentioned chocolates will receive a refund upon return.
