Hristovski: PE City Parking made a decision to reduce the price of parking in Skopje
At the initiative of the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, and in accordance with the Statute of the public enterprise, yesterday at a meeting of the Management Board of the PE City Parking, a decision was made which provides reducing the prices of parking services on public areas in the parking zones in the city of Skopje, said today at a press conference the director of the company Bojan Hristovski.
He pointed out that according to the decision to change the price list of services of the Public Enterprise City Parking, the reduction refers to hourly parking in the following zones: Zone A0 parking from 100 denars, is reduced to 75 denars, in zone A from 50 denars, is reduced to 40 denars, in zone B from 40 denars, the amount for parking is reduced to 30 denars and in zone C and D, the price for one hour of parking from 30 denars is reduced to 25 denars.
This decision for cheaper parking in Skopje enters into force after obtaining the consent of the Council of the City of Skopje, and it will be applied from March 1.
Hristovski emphasized that with the adoption of this decision, and in the midst of economic crisis, when prices are rising, the Public Enterprise City Parking met the demands of citizens for cheaper parking in the city and realized what was promised to the people of Skopje.
- Our goal as a Public Enterprise is with our decisions to always be primarily transparent in our work, to be at the service of the citizens and to timely realize the requests of the citizens in the city of Skopje. The realization of this promise is an indicator that what is promised, should and will be fulfilled. Namely, we continue to work actively in the direction of realization of the program projects that are in the interest of the citizens, and are planned to be realized in the next period. Here I would like to point out the new multi-storey and prefabricated parking lots in Cair, Aerodrom, Centar and Kisela Voda, which will enable parking in Skopje not only to be cheaper, but also to be more accessible for the citizens, added Hristovski.
