Regarding Mitsotakis's address to Congress, a Greek government spokesman said it was an "honorary invitation to foreign leaders in extremely rare cases".
In the United States, the Prime Minister will speak with President Biden and address the Congress, as he stressed, not only on behalf of Greece, but as a representative of Hellenism. He will speak as prime minister of a country that has self-confidence and is a credible ally and a factor of security and stability in the Balkans, the Mediterranean and the Southeast Mediterranean, Ikonomu said on Friday.
