The German tennis player Alexander Zverev and this year he will play in the semifinals of Roland Garros.

In the quarterfinals, the 22nd seed beat the Argentine 6:4, 3:6, 6:3 and 6:4 Thomas Etchvery. Zverev played semifinals in Paris in 2021 and 2022, but was never a finalist.

For a place in the final, Zverev will play against the better of the match in between Kasper Rud и Holger Rune. Echeverri was not an easy opponent for Zverev and in the fourth set it seemed that the match could have a fifth as the Argentine looked better and fresher.

Zverev made the key moment at 3:3 when he won a break and did not lose that advantage until the end of the set, the Argentine missed two break opportunities.

In the other semi-final, as is known since yesterday, they will meet Carlos Alcaraz и Novak Djokovic.
