The problem should be solved soon parking at certain locations in municipality of Karpos, especially in the neighborhood Karposh 1, where residents can not find a free parking space due to vehicles parked by citizens who work or visit guests in the neighboring municipality of Center. Zone parking will be introduced.

The public enterprise "City parking" will be responsible for public parking lots and public areas that will be intended for zone parking in the municipality, ie will function as an organizer of stationary traffic. This is decided on today's session of the Karposh Council, by a majority vote of the councilors.

"City Parking" should undertake activities for the organization of dormant traffic, including marking, maintenance and use, as well as technical and organizational work, collection and supervision of vehicle parking and other works on public parking lots and zone parking areas.

 In this case, for the use of public parking lots and public areas intended for zone parking, PE "City Parking" - Skopje is obliged to pay a utility fee, in accordance with the Law on Communal Fees and the Law on the City of Skopje. Therefore, the public enterprise is obliged to submit to the Council of the Municipality of Karpos / the Mayor of the local self-government, semi-annual reports on the undertaken measures and activities in order to maintain and information on the current condition of public parking lots and public areas intended for zone parking - say from the Municipality of Karpos.
