The Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi before the beginning of today's session of the Central Presidency of DUI in Mala Recica, he said that he "knows that there are deputies of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE who would support the constitutional amendments".

-From today I think that we should start with our efforts, calling on the Macedonian opposition to join the efforts for a European North Macedonia. Not that I think so, I know that there are deputies from VMRO-DPMNE who would support them, Grubi said.

To a journalist's question, commenting on the statements of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE that 10 MPs are praising the government for the constitutional amendments, Grubi said that this is being said by people who are not MPs.

Asked about the allegations that a member of the DUI asked for money to vote for the constitutional amendments, Grubi denied, pointing out that there is neither a member of the DUI, nor an Albanian in the progressive parliamentary majority who conditions the constitutional amendments for European North Macedonia.

- They are absolutely not true. There is no deputy in the DUI, nor an Albanian or anyone else in the progressive parliamentary majority who conditions the constitutional amendments for a European North Macedonia. I think the address is somewhere else, and that is at the headquarters of VMRO-DPMNE. As of today, we are starting efforts to secure the parliamentary majority as we did in the previous case with the Prespa Agreement. I am convinced that we will succeed even now, because we have contacts with the opposition and we see the mood. It's one thing what their leaders who are not MPs say, another thing is what those who are MPs say, Grubi said.
