Turnover in the industry has decreased significantly
The State Statistical Office announced that industrial turnover in December decreased by 2023 percent compared to the same month in 11.

According to the main industrial groups, the total turnover in the industry in December 2024, compared to December 2023, recorded an increase in Durable Consumer Goods by 8.2% and Non-Durable Consumer Goods by 1.3%, while a decrease was recorded in Intermediate Goods, except Energy by 1.8% and in Capital Goods by 26.2%.
Industrial turnover in December compared to November 2024, recorded a decline of 12.8%, while from January to December last year compared to the same period in 2023, the decrease was 10.8%.
On the domestic market, the turnover in the industry in December 2024, compared to December 2023, decreased by 0.9%. According to the main industrial groups, the turnover in the industry on the domestic market in December 2024, compared to December 2023, recorded an increase in Capital Goods by 3.9%, Durable Consumer Goods by 8.0% and Non-Durable Consumer Goods by 0.7%, while a decrease was recorded in Intermediate Goods, except Energy by 5.5%.
In December, compared to November 2024, there was a growth of 3.4%, while in the period January-December compared to the same period in 2023, a decline of 2.0% was recorded.
