Gold medal for Georgievski and silver for Dodevski at the Taekwondo G2 tournament in Tirana

New big success for Macedonian taekwondo fighter Dejan Georgievski who won a gold medal at the tournament in Tirana (Albania) within the G2 series.

Our competitor managed to defeat the Slovenian in the final in the +87 kg category Ivan Trajkovic, who by the way is a medalist from the WC.

In the first round, the Macedonian was better with 9:4, and he won the second round even more convincingly with 11:2. Earlier in the semi-finals he triumphed over the Bosnian Dinko Segedin (first round 5:2, second round 3:0).

Georgievski took another step closer, with the new points towards securing the Olympic norm for The Paris 2024 Games.

He also won a medal Filip Dodevski (-87 kg.) won silver after losing to Taleh Suleimanov, although he had a 4:0 lead in the decisive moments.
