It is good to have a competition for president in SDSM, but it is difficult for the party with ten candidates for president, because it can be frivolous, said political analyst Ljupco Zikov in tonight's guest appearance on Kanal 5 television.

He believes that in SDSM in the past three decades "as a party, the views of the membership are expressed much more democratically."

- He knew that there were opposing views. I expect that there will not be many candidacies. I would not be surprised only if Kovacevski's candidacy remains. Regarding the public speculations, there were three candidates in 2013, when Zaev won the Congress of the party, adds Zikov.

According to him, two or three candidates would be good for democracy in one party.

- Those candidates are a reflection of the political option and doctrine led by the president. The question is how many candidacies will appear by the day of the elections, Zikov thinks.
