A resident of the Skopje village of Ognjanci was found yesterday driving a car rented from a rental car company in the Tetovo area, which had been reported stolen, the Ministry of Interior announced.

"On 17.02.2025 at 18.50:34 at the Bogorodica Border Crossing, police officers seized a Skoda passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, owned by a rental car company from the village of Ognjanci, municipality of Petrovec, from the person B.F. (239) from the village of Ognjanci, municipality of Petrovec. After measures were taken and checks were carried out, it was determined that the vehicle was wanted by the Petrovec Police Department and is the subject of a criminal case under Article XNUMX of the Criminal Code. In connection with the event, B.F. stated that as an authorized person of the company, he took over the vehicle from a police station in the Republic of Greece, for which he also attached documentation in Greek. Measures are being taken to clarify the case," the police say.
