Women explained how long foreplay sex should last
There is no perfect answer to the question: "How long should sex last?", although usually "longer" also means "better". But what do women think about this topic?
In the study, published by "Journal of Sexual Medicine", sex therapists were asked how long sex should last. They had four categories – enough, too short, too long and desirable. The majority considered that 1-2 minutes of penetrative sex is too short, and 10-30 minutes is too long. According to them, 3-7 minutes are enough, and 7-13 minutes are desirable.
The women were then asked how long they would like their relationship to last. Most said they wanted to have foreplay, lasting 11 to 13 minutes, followed by penetrative intercourse, lasting 14 to 16 minutes. When you add up the minutes, foreplay sex should last 25 to 30 minutes.
