This man from Mostar with a Belgrade address was supposed to perform on August 19, but the Park-forest director Marjan Pejanovic, wanted to ban the concert of this regionally popular singer.
"The decision is mine, I made it and I have that right. Zeljko Samardzic's music does not suit Sustipan," Pejnovic previously told Slobodna Dalmatia.
However, it seems that the City of Split has, in the meantime, reacted, and will allow the concert to take place. They say that they have the final say on the bans and that the director made a statement banning the concert without consulting the City.

Many fans in Split listened to Samardzic in the packed Spaladium Arena. He also filled the Zagreb Arena, and recently performed in Split, at the "Fusion World Music" festival.
By the way, the news about the potential cancellation of the concert comes shortly after the banned folk concerts in Pula and Osijek where they were supposed to perform Duško Kuliš, Dragan Kojic и Ana Bekuta.
The director of a public institution refused Zeljko Samardzic's request to perform in Split
