The strong earthquakes that hit Turkey and neighboring Syria today were felt as far as Greenland, the Geological Institute of Denmark and Greenland announced.

"The strong earthquakes in Turkey were clearly registered on seismographs in Denmark and Greenland," said seismologist Tine Larsen.
