Zelensky about the Russians: Once they wanted to destroy us with hunger, and now with darkness and cold

Ukraine has accused the Kremlin of reviving Stalin's genocidal tactics while commemorating the Soviet-era famine that killed millions of Ukrainians in the winter of 1932-1933.

On the day Ukraine remembers the victims of the Holodomor, a mass and deliberately-caused famine during the Soviet era, Ukraine is fighting a Russian invasion with major power outages caused by airstrikes on power plants that Kyiv says are aimed at impair resolve.
