Zelensky: The situation at some points on the front is extremely difficult, and aid to Ukraine is late

Last night, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his daily video address, said that the situation is extremely difficult at some points on the front.

- The situation is extremely difficult at several points on the front line, where Russian forces have concentrated maximum reserves. They are taking advantage of the delay in aid to Ukraine, Zelensky pointed out, adding that Ukrainian forces lack artillery and need front-line air defense as well as longer-range weapons.

According to Zelensky, Kyiv with its partners is working as hard as possible to renew and expand support for Ukraine.

He thanked his compatriots, Ukrainian companies and partners of Ukraine, who are already producing weapons, artillery shells, drones and electronic warfare systems in the country.

The Russian army is on the offensive in eastern and southern Ukraine and recently captured the heavily fortified town of Avdeevka in the Donetsk region, their first major victory since the capture of Bakhmut in May 2023.
