Zelensky: At least 500 children have died since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski said today that at least 500 Ukrainian children were killed in Russia's war against his country. He said this after rescuers pulled the body of a two-year-old girl from the rubble was killed in a Russian attack last night in the central city of Dnieper.
"The Russian weapons of hatred that continue to take and destroy the lives of Ukrainian children every day have killed hundreds who have disappeared since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022," the Ukrainian president said in a statement.
"Many of them could become famous scientists, artists, sports champions to contribute to Ukrainian history," he said.
He added that it is impossible to determine the exact number of dead children because some areas are under Russian occupation.
"We must endure and win this war." All of Ukraine, all of our people, all of our children, must be freed from Russian terror."
