Addressing the leaders of the Group of Seven leading industrial democracies, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he wanted Russia's war in Ukraine to end by the end of the year, before winter came, two European diplomats said.

Zelenski addressed a video conference to the leaders of Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States on the second day of their meeting in southern Germany.
