The green transition is among the key priorities of the Ministry of Education and Culture, says Nikolovski
The green transition is one of the key priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, in addition to other reforms that we are implementing, and I believe that together with responsible companies and institutions, we will contribute to changing awareness, to behave responsibly and to have as much and better such successful examples, said the line minister Ljupcho Nikolovski during today's afforestation campaign under the motto "We are reforesting together for a greener tomorrow" in Miladinovci, Skopje.
The action is organized by the company "DM Drogerie Markt", with the support of National Forests, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Faculty of Forestry Sciences, Landscape Architecture and Eco-Engineering "Hans Em". Over 300 people joined the action, and over 10 thousand seedlings were planted on 27 hectares in Miladinovci.
Minister Nikolovski announced that next year they will double the budget, increase the Program for Extended Reproduction and believes that they will motivate all subjects to such a responsible approach.
- The Ministry of Education and Culture and the institutions are fully committed and provide overall support to this entire process. Today, we are assisting with "National Forests" in this whole beautiful action, however, through our programs, we are working intensively to ensure that as many hectares as possible are reforested and properly, professionally and expertly. That's why these days we were in Petrovec, in Veles, bigger actions through the Program for Extended Reproduction of the Ministry of Forestry together with "National Forests". We continue on the 3rd of next Saturday on 50 hectares in Krivopalanechko and Rankovce, in Kočani, in Skopje, Minister Nikolovski said.
