Today is the 48 hours that the civil initiative "Green Human City" gave to the State Inspectorate for Construction and Urban Planning and the Public Prosecutor's Office to act and rule on DUP C 08, which covers the parking space at the Holiday Inn. where the construction of the first of the three towers of the "Grand" complex began. The Initiative also called on the people of Skopje to join them in the public pressure on the institutions, because as they say, when injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes a duty.

From the State Inspectorate for Construction and Urbanism and the Public Prosecutor's Office, "Green Humane City" demands that they urgently fulfill their duty and protect the public interest, and that new residents get a solution and a way out of the inhumane conditions in which they live. They also call on the Council of the Municipality of Centar to urgently vote on the suspension report for further implementation of this detailed urban plan.

As they say from the Initiative, currently an approval has been issued for one of the three planned buildings on one of the three plots, but the possibility is open for issuing approval for the other two towers on the first plot and for consolidation of the other 2 plots and full privatization of this space without contents of public interest.

-In October 2018, the Ministry of Transport and Communications sells over 9000 square meters of state land to complete a plot of over 13 square meters based on an excerpt from the Detailed Urban Plan that was not implemented, in accordance with a decision made by the Municipality of Centar to stop of its implementation. The Initiative recently reminded that the detailed urban plan or part of the detailed urban plan that is not harmonized or contrary to the provisions of the General Urban Plan, can not be applied, which means that the sale of land by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the approval issued by the mayor of the Municipality of Centar are illegal.

The residents of Novo Maalo reacted to the request of the "Green Humane City" and told the activists to stop the reactions and announced that they would protest if the construction stopped.
