Former Secretary General of the Government, Muhamed Zeqiri after several months spent in detention in the investigative prison "Shutka" in Skopje, due to health reasons, he goes to house arrest.

The decision, as confirmed by the Skopje Court of Appeal, was made today. The court indicated that Zeqiri's passport was confiscated.

Regarding when Zeqiri will be transferred from the hospital to house arrest, the Appeal has no information because, as they say, the police should transfer him when there are conditions for that.

Muhamed Zeqiri is suspected of abusing his official position and authority. According to the indictment, without conducting an appropriate public procurement procedure, he concluded a contract for consulting services with a legal entity, in which Croatian citizens intentionally assisted him.
