The association "Nova" published the collection of poetry "Warm herbs" by Bojan Vasic

The book of poetry "Warm Herbs" by Serbian poet Bojan Vasic is the latest publication of the Association for Science and Culture "Nova" from Bitola. The translation from Serbian was done by Lence Milosevska. The publication of the book is financially supported by the European Union through the project "Regional Network for Cultural Diversity" (READ - Regional Network for Cultural Diversity), in local implementation of the Goethe Institute in Skopje and the Center for Balkan Cooperation "Loja" in Tetovo.

- The book contains fifty poems enclosed in a thematic whole dedicated to plants, trees, herbs, grasses as lyrical subjects through which the poet builds the semantic framework of his philosophical-metaphorical approach to poetry. Certainly, such a perception of the world of plants stems from the poet's experiential experience with immediate life in nature, through which Bojan Vasic manages to build his authentic and recognizable poetic architecture as a sublime of modern, surrealist and symbolic interpretation of melancholy. - says the reviewer Mirjana Stojanovska.

Bojan Vasic is an author from the younger generation. He was born in Banato Novo Selo in 1985. He graduated in Serbian language and literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. He is the author of seven books of poetry. For the book "Warm Herbs" he received the awards "Miroslav Antic" and "Vasko Popa". The collection of poems "Warm Herbs" is his first book translated into Macedonian.
