Zakharova: The idea of delivering nuclear weapons to Ukraine endangers the people of Poland
The Russian Foreign Ministry today criticized the proposal of the former Polish Foreign Minister, now a member of the European Parliament, Rodoslaw Sikorski, for the delivery of nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova quoted Sikorsky as saying on her Telegram account: "Russia has violated the Budapest Memorandum and therefore the West has the right to donate nuclear warheads to Ukraine to protect its independence."
She went on to write that Polish politicians controlled by the US transfer belt are displaying extremist ideology, spreading hatred, inciting conflict and now threatening the planet by violating the non-proliferation regime.
"But the most important thing is that they endanger the Polish people, who are getting involved in the nuclear redistribution of the world," Zakharova concluded.
