Fifty new young people will be employed in the customer care center of "Philip Morris" which is transferred from "Teleperformance" from Athens to Skopje.

It is a modern customer support center that already employs 300 people, and the number of employees will increase by another 50. The average salary is around 700 euros, which is above the average in the country.

- We support young people who want to work in an international company in which they will be inspired to learn, grow and develop. "We offer excellent job opportunities, an attractive salary and a pleasant working atmosphere in order for young people to stay and work in the country," said the CEO of Teleperformance Germany in charge of the Macedonian branch Michel Schmidt at today's promotion in Skopje.

For the Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who together with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bitiqi attended the event, such investments of international companies already operating in the country, confirm that the business climate offers opportunities for growth and development of the private sector.

- Global companies such as Philip Morris International invest in innovation and development, open new opportunities for young people to work in an environment typical of large reputable companies. It also means an opportunity for professional advancement according to international standards. Developed private sector means a developed country and therefore with the series of measures we implement we give incentives to companies to employ young people and invest in them. This is the basic motive for a young person to stay in a company and in the country, said Zaev.

He announced that the Government remains committed to the development of a favorable business climate in the country and encouraged companies to continue investing in the country.

"Philip Morris International" entered the Macedonian market in 2014 when it took over the Tobacco Factory in Prilep.

- Together we set new standards and managed to transform the tobacco industry in the country. On the one hand, the Tobacco Factory Prilep achieves excellent results in terms of cigarette production, and on the other hand "Philip Morris" has commercialized IQOS, an innovative device that heats but does not burn tobacco, which has the potential to transform the entire tobacco industry and secure a smoke-free future, said Philip Morris CEO Ivan Kostic.
