The Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on his Facebook page explained the comprehensive policies of the Government and the way it takes care to build an inclusive society equal for all.

-Through comprehensive policies and multi-institutional approach we build an inclusive society in which people with disabilities have equal access to progress and development. This year we celebrate December 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with positive changes, as a result of the implementation of the world's best practices for support and inclusion of persons with disabilities in their daily lives, health, education and social protection. And not only today, the inclusion of these people in society is a process to which we are committed every day of the year. They are part of our daily lives, our friends and relatives.

These fellow citizens most of all demand equality, independent living and functioning in the society and that is why the top priority of the Government is the inclusion of people with disabilities in all social flows. This is especially important when it comes to the lives of these people at the moment of the KOVID-19 pandemic and their stress-free transition to the post-Kovid period.

In order to promote and create a quality society in which diversity is respected and valued, The Government is committed to improving and facilitating the living conditions of persons with disabilities, regardless of the age of persons, wrote Zaev:

"We have reduced the limit for personal assistance. Persons with disabilities aged 6 to 64 are now entitled to a personal assistant. In that way we enable people with disabilities to perform daily activities and to be actively involved in everyday life.

- We have developed the Audio Reader application, which allows blind and visually impaired people to hear and understand the written text in an audio version in their native language.

- 15 new inclusive kindergartens have been opened, which enable children with disabilities to be included in preschool education.

"For those who take care of their loved ones, and who are people with disabilities, the state replenishes the second half of the salary if they work part-time, and for those over 64 years of age we provide a kind of pension, in order to have economic security." , writes the Prime Minister.

In affirming the authentic concept of "One Society for All", the Government remains committed to prioritizing and promoting and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities in areas such as: equality and non-discrimination, freedom of movement, independent living, education, access to goods and services, employment, legal support and access to justice, health, and the right to political participation in all processes of strategic importance for our country, wrote on his Facebook profile, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. , adds Zaev in the announcement.
