Europe has a problem today, the visionary idea of a united Europe has a problem today, and the problem is the EU itself. Brussels has told us that the EU has failed to find a way to secure the deserved European integration of the Western Balkans. That is the problem, that 26 EU members fail to prevent a blockade of one member state, it is a problem of Europe caused by the European Union itself, said Zaev at today's press conference after the blockade by Bulgaria.

He adds that the Macedonian and Albanian people have the same path and the same values in front of them, and not policies of walls and divisions.

- We do not stop, and I know that Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina are on the same path with us. We are Europe, whether the EU succeeds in removing the blockades or not. Our peoples and governments in the middle of the Balkans are demonstrating European manners, we are rapidly removing borders and obstacles between us, so that our citizens, services and goods can move freely. We have common ideas, challenges and cultures with our fraternal peoples from the region. We are here with Rama to announce that we will bring our nations even closer, added Zaev.

He also sent a message to European citizens and politicians that the essence and values of the EU are being called into question.

- We have a message for our citizens, both for European citizens and for European politicians. The alarm is on, the essence and values of the EU are in question. European values are common for the member states, but also for the candidate countries that accept and develop them, these values are affirmed today by the Western Balkans. Inclusiveness, tolerance, justice, solidarity, said Zaev
