During the previous night (17/18.03 2023) by police officers of the Bureau of Public Security at the Ministry of the Interior in cooperation with inspectors from the State Market Inspectorate (DPI), the Public Revenue Administration (PRI) and the State Labor Inspectorate (DIT) joint control was carried out in catering establishments in Gostivar.

During the control in one of the catering facilities by the DPI, irregularities were found according to the Law on Protection from Smoking, by the IRS it was found that fiscal invoices were not issued, and by the DIT, one person was found in a workplace without appropriate documents. Police officers found a female person, a foreign citizen, without a regulated stay and appropriate documents, who was handed over to inspectors for foreigners for further proceedings.

In another catering facility, fines were imposed due to irregularities found by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Internal Revenue Service and the DIT, including non-issuance of fiscal accounts, not having a daily report book, non-compliance with the Law on smoking protection in a closed part of the facility, etc. Irregularities on the part of the Internal Revenue Service in connection with the non-issuance of fiscal invoices, not having a fiscal cash register and a book of reports have been ascertained in another catering facility in Gostivar, for which monetary fines will be imposed. In the same facility, eight people were found who were performing catering activities without being registered, for which a fine will follow.

During the action control, five drivers were found driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol in the area of ​​Gostivar, they were excluded from traffic and appropriate payment orders were issued to them. At the same time, nine other violations were established, which are legally sanctioned.
