For Ukraine, it is "unacceptable" for Turkey to let the Russian ship with stolen Ukrainian grain
Turkey has allowed a Russian ship to leave port, detained a few days ago, on suspicion of carrying stolen Ukrainian grain. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the move "unacceptable".
Ukraine will call the Turkish ambassador to the country to ask for an explanation.
"We regret that the Russian ship Žibek Joly, which was full of stolen Ukrainian grain, was allowed to leave the port of Karasu despite the criminal evidence presented to the Turkish authorities," the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on Twitter. Oleg Nikolenko.
Kyiv has accused Moscow of stealing grain from territories occupied by Russian forces since the invasion began in late February. The Kremlin has denied such claims
