High school students finish the 9/2022 school year on June 2023, while elementary school students will work three more days and the last school day for them is June 14.
The school year for primary school students has been extended due to the extended winter vacation in order to save electricity for heating schools, so the second semester of the school year began on January 18 instead of January 23.
According to the data of the State Statistics Office, at the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year, the number of students in regular primary schools was 185.099, and in regular secondary schools 69.227.
