In Croatia, the new measures of the Civil Protection Headquarters came into force at midnight, which refer to the reduction of the number of customers and visitors in the shops and shopping centers.

Under the new rules, stores that have space to 10 square meters may have one customer each, while stores from 11 to 100 square meters must to provide at least ten square meters for each client.

Stores up to 200 square meters for each customer must provide 12 square meters, those up to 2.000 - 16 square meters, and those larger than 2.000 must provide 20 square meters for each client.

Shopping malls should have for every customer at least 16 square meters.

Stores and shopping malls are required to clearly display notice at the entrance of the maximum number of customers allowed and to strictly adhere to these restrictions.

Shopping malls will have to disable sitting in common areas.
