For SDSM Xhaferi is a good solution for a technical prime minister, for VMRO-DPMNE this is a complete DUIzation.
We think that Talat Xhaferi is an appropriate and good solution, said Daniela Markoska, deputy of SDSM, answering a question whether the decision of DUI that the current president of the Assembly is technically prime minister one hundred days before the elections that will be held in the spring is acceptable for her party.
Answering a journalist's question at a press conference, she said that tomorrow at a meeting of the Executive Board of the SDSM, scheduled by the leader of the party and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, their fellow party member Jovan Mitreski is expected to be proposed as president of the Assembly and the proposal will be confirmed by the top party leadership.
When asked what would happen if VMRO-DPMNE refused to be part of the technical Government led by Talat Xhaferi and did not propose ministers and deputy ministers, Markoska replied that "it will not work for them if DPMNE is looking for an alibi for the defeat that awaits them in the elections".
We have been seeing the destructive policies of DPMNE, the blockades, the attempts to bring the country to a standstill, to block the Parliament, for years. DPMNE does not know anything else, because it has no offer for the citizens. Attempts to create a crisis are not something new. As it didn't work before, it won't work this time either. DPMNE has a problem of a different nature. But everything they claimed so far turned out to be the opposite, said the SDSM deputy.
Previously, VMRO-DPMNE came out with the view that with the appointment of Talat Xhaferi as technical prime minister, Macedonia is undergoing complete DUization.
Once again it was shown in action and proved that DUI is the government and SDS is a subcontractor. As Ahmeti plays for them, that's how Kovacevski and SDS play. Kovachevski, just to survive for another month, is ready to cede everything to DUI and Ahmeti, to the detriment of the Macedonian people. SDS and Kovacevski did not accept the proposal of VMRO-DPMNE to abolish the technical government, so that Xhaferi could be prime minister, the party announced.
