For pensioners in March, there will be another 2.500 denars each, but there will be no September adjustment
The finance minister Gordana Dimitrieska – Kochoska once again emphasized that pensioners from March next year will receive another 2.500 denars each, but as he explained, they should not wait for the September adjustment, because according to the current methodology, this is impossible.
– The pension is adjusted from January 1 and July 1 each year according to the percentage of the increase in the index of the cost of living in the previous half year in relation to the half year preceding it, published by the State Statistics Office.
In the event that the increase in the cost of living has a negative sign, no adjustment of the pension is made.
Realistically, now we will have negative items in relation to inflation, although there will be it, as well as in relation to the increase in wages, although there is also an increase in wages, because those rates will be lower compared to the previous half-year.
That is, if they are compared, they will have a negative sign - explained Dimitrieska - Kochoska. at today's press briefing where he spoke about the Budget Proposal for 2025.
