For the most advanced society in the history of the world

If the world had not been so stupid, if it had not turned out that in the 21st century the fascists of all provenances still won, Tito's work - socialist Yugoslavia - should have been studied, celebrated and taken as an example to the whole planet, much more than Athenian democracy.

The month of May unstoppably reminds me of the childhood spent in the daily survey of Bunjakovec and Debarmaal dusts. The new and polished green that dominates this month brings back even more memories of the baroque decadence of Islahane Park or City Park - the first part, as we called it, and the incredibly contrasting second part of the park, which was all neglected and breathtaking. But even that wilderness seemed to be cultivated as if especially for us idiots, who projected our adventurous fantasies in the thick woods and whole trees wrapped in creepers and vines.

The strongest memories associated with this irresistibly flourishing month are still the early May Day parades, in which practically the whole society participated, literally everyone. Either as participants or as families supporting their members who are part of the ceremonial parade or as an audience sharing the euphoria of everyone else.

I remember the May Day mornings that started with that special excitement, as if we were all going to perform on a theater stage, a kind of stimulating nervousness that makes those mornings somehow strangely bright and solemn, apparently later retouched in the brain lab. The neighborhood seemed to have transparent walls, and it was as if we could see the other children and their parents running back and forth, dressing in formal or at least freshly washed clothes, almost all of us as if we were playing the role of Natasha Rostova in front of her first ball. .

In May, we all celebrated today the unimaginable, and then more than a real, Yugoslav utopia, and its creator Josip Broz Tito, we celebrated practically the whole month. From the May Day holidays until May 25, when the Youth Day was celebrated, and she was celebrating the birthday of the beloved leader, already then turned into a legend. And I remember, it was repeated every year, Tito gallantly transferred the credit for his incredible historical-political achievements to the fighters of his revolutionary communist party and to the whole community of Yugoslav peoples who fought, built and fully deserved their utopia. . Congratulations, hymns and the usual infantilized and modern choreography and scenography Tito ended with a speech in which he assured us that he was happy and peaceful because the future of Yugoslavia was safe in the hands of such wonderful youth as he thought we were.

No one became famous for predicting the future, but with the trust in us - Tito's youth - he could no longer err: the first thing we did after his death was to barbarically destroy his Yugoslavia. The second was to bring them to power - practically all the still-living state infants born on the deathbed of Yugoslavia - all the losers of World War II, all the fascist collaborators, the quislings, the Chetniks, the Ustashas, the ballists, the VMRO counter-ins, and not historical-political sediment. And to give them free hands, for over thirty years, to rape, regress, rob and fool the unfortunate inhabitants of the territory where once, in Tito's time, in the heyday of our youth, flourished the most advanced, most moral, socially just and free society -political and state creation in the history of mankind.

And the third thing we - the golden Tito youth - have done is in the dumbest possible way to rationalize not only the Yugoslav catastrophe, but also the downfall of Marxist ideology and the abomination of the virtues of Yugoslav socialism. And so, for thirty years, a sergeant against Tito and Yugoslavia, the generation that destroyed both before and after the unattainably advanced system of state management of society, thus wanting to shift its horrible historical blame for its ruin to the socio-political "silicon" Valley ”of the 20th century. Ah, that blossoming May, awakens in me the memories of the utopia which privileged the generations born around the middle of the century as if they were demigods, and at the same time, unblocks the incurable wounds of guilt that we have left ashes for young millennials and their children. instead of Olympus and Parnassus on whose slopes we played.

Yes, we are talking about the May veins of an unclean conscience, personal and intimate, respected readers, but comfortably shared with you. And the most painful thing in those endless petitions against the most prominent state-political creation in the history of the world, is that all these "rationalizations" are made on the basis of the stupidest antilogy (if this coinage is possible) that only a seriously ill, wrecked mind can conceive. Most of the "analyzes" and other nonsense that disgusts Yugoslav socialism and Tito's historical work use - I will repeat - the stupidest possible a posteriori argument in the world. And he roughly reads that the obvious and crowning proof of the wrongness of Marxism, Communism, Socialism, Tito's life and the Yugoslav federation, is that they collapsed catastrophically fast, violently and bloodily, like a massive landslide and sinking of an entire region, which behind leaves nothing but desolation, misfortune, forgetfulness and stupidity.

Can one think of something stupider and even more grotesque than this distorted antilogy, and yet it prevails in the "learned" analyzes and in the political speech and in the noise of the time all these years. This nonsense is practically ridiculous, because on the same logic is based the criticism of the drinking water of the great expert on alcoholic beverages, the legendary character of Momo Kapor in his "Diary of an Anna", Sule from Ada, who sowed the same murderous but immeasurably ridiculous logic. He says: if the water was a good thing, there would be no frogs cracking in it. Or, if the water was good and useful, they would not have taken it off their knees. Hahahaha! It is literally the same logic with which, due to the criminal ordeal in which Yugoslav socialism was slaughtered and burned, he himself is declared historically wrong and worthless.

And the only reasonable human point of view should be the opposite. The very fact that the South Slavic peoples and others with whom they share the Balkans have never before been able to ensure such progress, peace, security, justice, equality, freedom, brotherhood, solidarity and mass happiness, is proof of the incredible, unique and the unattainable value of Tito's work. On the territory of the former Yugoslavia, there has never been such a quality social work, and we clearly see that there will never be anything that can be compared to it. Tito's Yugoslavia is the absolute socio-political, cultural and evolutionary pinnacle of the Balkans, the only "golden age" of the southern Slavs.

But the most frightening thing is that the downfall and persecution of Yugoslav socialism - though enormous and unforgivable - is not our local fault, because the contribution of this socio-political experiment is universal, planetary, and even the guilt of desecration and oblivion - as well as the immediate guilt. in the overthrow of Yugoslavia - there is also the international community. Why, you ask. Because Yugoslav socialism is practically the most advanced form of state-building and organized society in all known history. No, I'm not exaggerating. If you compare Tito's Yugoslavia with all the advanced and developed countries in the time of the "golden thirties" (50s, 60s and 70s) of the twentieth century, according to all possible parameters for the quality of social life: equality, freedom, social justice, the general standard and quality of all public services, you will see that no country in the world - especially not the richest ones - could even come close to the values and real achievements of Yugoslavia. It has achieved its inhabitants more than what was promised in its constitution.

Therefore, if the world had not been so stupid, if it had not turned out that in the 21st century the fascists of all provenances still won, Tito's work - socialist Yugoslavia - should have been studied, celebrated and taken as an example to the whole planet, much more than Athenian democracy. And finally, if the Athenian democracy was worth something, it would not have disgustingly disappeared - after barely half a century of uninterrupted functioning - and not reappeared on the planet for more than two thousand years !?
