For Kosovo, the Berlin process is one of the best platforms for economic development

The Berlin process is one of the best platforms for the economic development of both Kosovo and the region, it was assessed today in Pristina at the meeting "Increasing regional integration: The role of Kosovo in the Berlin process and in the chairmanship of CEFTA", reported Beta.

The gathering was organized by the Kosovo Parliamentary Commission for European Integration in cooperation with the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The President of the Parliamentary Commission, Rezarta Krasniqi, said that Kosovo is "committed to implementing reforms for the good of the country and the region" and said that the EU should abolish the measures that were established against Kosovo almost a year ago, reported MIA.

- The Berlin process started in 2014 represents an important platform for promoting economic development. Kosovo was an active participant in the Berlin process and we are committed to strengthening economic growth. The inclusion of Kosovo shows our willingness to work with our neighbors, Krasniqi said.

He added that "when Kosovo chairs the CEFTA organization in 2025, it will be dedicated to increasing trade facilitation and strengthening a more competitive and integrated market."
