From February 15, for the registration of a newly purchased apartment in the Cadastre, for a title deed instead of 1.250 denars, citizens will have to pay at least 3.750 denars, because in the event of a change of ownership, a separate registration of the square footage of the apartment, part of the common rooms, as well as part from the land under the building

Extracting a title deed from the Geodetic-Cadastral Information System in electronic form still costs 250 denars, but if the data from the Geodetic-Cadastral Information System is used to create new products with added value for commercial purposes, the fee prescribed by this tariff is increased by 300 percent.

With the amendments and supplements to the Tariff for the amount of the fee for certification of geodetic reports for completed geodetic works, which entered into force on February 15, for the registration of a newly purchased apartment in the Real Estate Cadastre Agency, for a property certificate instead of 1.250 denars, citizens will have to to pay at least 3.750 denars, because upon change of ownership, a separate registration of the square footage of the apartment, part of the common rooms, as well as part of the land under the building will be required. Now, it will be necessary to pay for each title deed separately, which means that it will cost the citizens 3.750 denars, plus 600 denars for notary services. If they also buy a garage, they will have to pay for another title deed, i.e. an additional 1.250 denars.

The Government gave its consent to the price increases on January 30, and the Cadastre Agency informed MIA that the increase is due to increased real costs (for electricity, fuel, software licenses, equipment maintenance, salary increases, etc.), which were the basis for calculation of the compensation, and refer to the execution of geodetic works. From the Chamber of Geodetic Societies, they say that since last year in December, they asked for a new tariff to be adopted. AKN explained that the last tariff was from 2014.

By the way, at the end of 2022, after the information that the prices of cadastral services have increased up to 500 percent, the director of the Cadastre Agency Boris Tundzhev said that the increase was between 25 and 30 percent. After the reactions in the public, then Tundjev emphasized that most of the tariff items were even reduced, and with the changes made in the methodology, instead of 5 there were now only 2 tariff lists.

"Costs have also increased as a result of the increase in maintenance costs for operating systems, surveying and IT software, the large number of work licenses...

- We, like other legal entities, were not immune to the impact of the increase in the price of electricity and other energy sources on the world market, which greatly complicates normal operations - said Tundzhev at the time.
