Vucic says he doesn't care about Putin or Biden, he fought for Serbia
The Serbian president Aleksandar Vuќi. spoke about the situation in Ukraine and referred to the fact that Serbia has not yet introduced sanctions against Russia.
"We persevered for 210 days with a stable policy, I don't think anyone expected that... Serbia's path is very difficult, bumpy... but it is a path that takes care of the interests of the state. It won't be easy in the future either," said Vucic.
"I'm not fighting for Putin or Biden, but for Serbia, this country... I don't care about foreign leaders," added Vucic and declared that "the pressures will increase."
"I see how Serbia in these difficult moments will not be under their attack and because we have to think about the day after, as Angela Merkel said today," said the Serbian president.
He says that "nervousness is increasing" in the West and that "political parties and media will be involved in the pressure on Serbia". In his address, he repeated Serbia's position on the referendums in Ukraine - that the country will not recognize the referendums on the annexation of the Ukrainian regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson to Russia.
