Vuќi:: I am full of EU games, that is why "Open Balkans" is important and we supported our friends

It was not fair for Serbia in Brussels to expect that it would get the opening of a new cluster, when Northern Macedonia has been a candidate for EU membership for 17 years, and Albania for eight years, and both did not get a date for the start of negotiations, so it was ours. "Let us show solidarity with the fraternal Macedonian people and the friendly Albanian people," Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today, answering a reporter's question about what message he was sending to Brussels by granting candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova, and the Western Balkans was not an essential topic.

Regarding the "Open Balkans" initiative and the EU's attitude, Vucic said he was "full of EU games".

- I am full of those EU games and games of the people from the region, always looking at how to blacken each other, so that these can be played with us as puppets. That is why "Open Balkans" is very important and that is why so passionately, although I had a mild and balanced vocabulary, I supported our brothers and friends, who had high expectations, but were not met. "I am talking primarily about the Macedonians, who were waiting for approval from the Bulgarian Parliament, but not approval which would mean that they have to change the Constitution again or I do not know what they are, which is of course up to them to agree," Vucic said.

As he stressed, at the Brussels Summit, the Western Balkans was not an essential topic, but the main topic was Ukraine.

Regarding the attempts to change the EU negotiating framework for Serbia on the recognition of Kosovo, Vucic said that the country has already established a negotiating framework that can not be changed.

Vuќi изра expressed hope that Serbia would be able to open a new cluster in December, and mentioned the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron for the European Political Community, which, according to him, would mean an opportunity for greater presence in the talks, in which they could Belgrade, and with the opening of the clusters, the country will be able to count on larger amounts of money through European funds and in policy-making in certain areas.

Vuќi рече said that Serbia's position is very difficult regarding the imposition of sanctions on Moscow, because the EU has already chosen the side in the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict and most countries are at war with Russia and are sending huge quantities of weapons to Ukraine.
