The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuќiќ, the Ministers of the Government of Serbia, led by the Prime Minister Ana Brnabiќ, as well as the Patriarch of Porfiria and church dignitaries attended the commemoration of the Serbs who were killed and expelled from the former Republika Srpska in armed Storm ", conducted in 1995 by Croatian armed formations.

"Today, when we recall what happened in August 1995, the expulsion of more than 250.000 Serbs, the exodus and the ethnic cleansing, we are reminded of who we are, what we are, where we are from and where we are going," Vucic said.

He said that we will never forget the columns and the boys behind the wheel who escaped the bullet.

- We will never receive world recognition for our victims. No one will ever cry for Serbian children. For that boy from the column, for those who escaped and died on Petrovacka Street - said the president and thanked the gathered who came.

According to him, a new generation of young people has arrived in Serbia "who want to keep their heads proud and will not apologize to those who killed Serbs".

- I will not apologize either. "I want to keep the peace, but I will not trample on the Krajins who died just because they are Serbs," Vucic said, adding that there would be no more "Buri" or "Blesok".

A minute of silence was observed for all those killed during Operation Storm. The anthems of the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska were also sung.
