Vucic: I did not force Vesic to resign, but he showed responsibility

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic "showed responsibility" with his resignation, adding that he "did not force Vesic to resign", but as he added, Vesic will remain in the Serbian Progressive Party and they there they will "work together", they announced Serbian media.

Vucic said that the investigation into the accident at the train station in Novi Sad will be "very difficult" for the prosecution, experts and judges, adding that he does not know exactly who is to blame for this accident.

The Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic, announced at an extraordinary press conference that he will officially resign from that position tomorrow morning.

He stated that he resigned for moral reasons.
