President Aleksandar Vucic said that annual trade between the two countries reached a value of 8,2 or 8,3 billion euros and that German companies employ around 78.000 people in Serbia. He indicated that when he became prime minister nine years ago, trade between the two countries was around two billion euros, and today it is between 8,2 and 8,3 billion euros, and that then German companies employed 17.500 people, and today 78.000.

Vucic believes that German companies will directly employ 2024 people in Serbia by the end of 100.000. He thanked the German partners for the huge support and that from them the Serbs learned a lot about what responsibility, seriousness, commitment and diligence mean when it comes to work and that is why the country progressed faster than others in the environment, precisely because of the presence of German companies, reports Politics rs.

He indicated that Serbia has a labor shortage and said that this is almost unimaginable when we have an unemployment rate of 26 percent. He told German investors to understand that Serbia will do everything to preserve peace, stability, good conditions, low energy prices, reports Tanjug.
